Orgasmic Manifesting 101

Can orgasmic pleasure enhance your ability to manifest? You may be familiar with the practice of sex magic, a ritual said to have roots in the Tantric and Celtic traditions. In sex magic, you speak your desire and as you reach a pleasurable peak call it towards you. It’s deliciously witchy… but does it actually work?
When I first started experimenting with sex magic, I found that it did in fact work, but only on specific desires. Like many people, I wanted to use it to experience financial abundance, but found that my sex magic practice worked best when I was calling in a romantic experience or new partner. It’s only in recent years that I’ve seen significant shifts in my money blocks and I credit that to my dedication in recent years to healing from narcissistic abuse and specifically, scapegoat abuse, As a result, I’ve seen sex magic, or as I like to call it, “pussy magic,” finally start to work for my financial goals as well.
All that is to say: Yes, sex magic works, but how effectively depends on just how deep your blocks run. For the best results, you’ll want to couple your pussy magic practice with trauma-informed support from a therapist, coach, or trauma expert. This way, you can catch those hard-to-budge mental patterns that your nervous system has put in place to try to keep you safe.
However, wherever you are in your healing journey, I still think sex magic is well-worth a try. It’s wicked fun and doesn’t hurt if you’re looking for a new ritual to help your nervous system align with an empowering belief or desire.
Here’s the very basics of the ritual:

- Begin by intentionally crafting your ritual space. You may want to have elements in your ritual space that invoke your desire, like cash if you’re manifesting money or lingerie if you’re manifesting love. Select meaningfully items that invoke the energy of your desire.
- Clarify your desire until you feel it’s in alignment with your highest good.
- Meditate on your desire. As you think about how good it will feel to experience this desire, begin to sensually touch yourself, allowing your turn on to intensify the good feelings.
- As you orgasm or reach a pleasure peak, surrender your desire to the Universe/Your Higher Power and trust that it will be delivered. ✨
How to Supercharge Your Sex Magic Practice
Now that you know the framework, you can really take this ritual to the next level with the help of modern psychology.
For starters, the mind does not know the difference between what’s real and what’s imagined. So, I like to not only use sex magic as a manifestation tool, but a litmus test to see where exactly my blocks are because you’ll be able to clearly feel when resistance comes up when in a state of arousal. Next, you can juice this practice up by flowing energy to different chakra centers, as research shows that focusing on different parts of the body increases activity and connectivity in the brain, which means more of your brain is coming online and finding congruence around this goal. Again, if you’re a trauma survivor, this will likely require additional interventions to fully achieve, as you will need to rewire your nervous system in bulk, over time. Conscious pleasure helps to speed this process up because it gives you a break from your brain’s default mode network (and long-standing trauma response), so if you’d like to really feel the magic, I’m here to help!
Next, invite more and more of your senses. This allows you to communicate with deeper parts of your brain and increases the likelihood that your subconscious brain will “get the message.”
