Step Three: Learn How to Pussywalk, Grow Your Confidence, and Tap Into Your Female Power

By Sasha Cagen, AKA, the PussyWhisperer.

Some people call me the PussyWhisperer.

As a life coach focusing on women’s sexuality, sensuality, and embodiment, I’ve spent more than a decade guiding women to connect with their sexual energy for empowerment in ways never taught in traditional sex education or portrayed in mainstream media.

Few women learn that they possess power between their legs to manifest the kind of day, or life, that they want.

In this special series for Shame-Free Sex, I’m providing a step-by-step methodology to build your “pussy energy” to increase confidence at work, in relationships, and while moving through the world with presence. Consider this your introduction to pussywalking.

Some might say pussywalking is for women who want to build their divine feminine energy. As a writer, I don’t necessarily embrace that terminology, but pussywalking encompasses that concept and more.

Series Overview

This article is the final installment in a three-part series. If you haven’t read the previous pieces, I recommend starting with Part One and Part Two before diving in here. There is so much we are never taught, and I’m bringing you the essential info here.

  • Part One covers the anatomical knowledge necessary to understand your potential for creating “subtle pleasure energy” through your internal clitoris that can help center yourself and power your days.
  • Part Two focuses on awakening “pussy energy” through breathing techniques, guiding you to illuminate this area by visualizing a radiant ball of energy and circulating it throughout your body through breath and visualization.

With these foundations established, we’re ready to explore pussywalking.

Wait, WTF Is Pussywalking?

Pussywalking is a mindfulness practice that helps women center themselves and build confidence. I created it in 2012, based on my work as a life coach for women 40+ and my extensive study of dance (Argentine tango), ancient sexual energy practices, and female walking patterns worldwide, beginning in Brazil.

Pussywalking first flowered in my own body. It took years to figure out how to transmit this knowledge to other women in an accessible methodology.

Though it may sound advanced, pussywalking is simple. It involves walking with intention and awareness focused on your pelvic region, cultivating energy between your legs in your internal clitoris, and channeling it to enhance your posture and energy. These techniques have roots in yoga, modern dance, and Tantra/Taoism.

Pussywalking isn’t about building toward climax. This energy operates at a different frequency than goal-oriented practices. It’s about awakening a gentle, sustaining “subtle pleasure energy.”

The vibrations you awaken create a force field that others may sense, especially in person. Though they likely won’t identify its source, they’ll feel its presence.

Whether you’re preparing for a Zoom presentation, navigating a sexist workplace, or going on a first date, pussywalking can help you increase your confidence on demand.

While people won’t know you’re pussywalking, they may unconsciously sense and respond to your changed energy. New opportunities may emerge as a result.

Most importantly, you’ll move through life with more confidence and calm, perhaps even with a slight swagger and a new secret smile.

Though I focus on female anatomy in pussywalking, everyone, regardless of gender identification, can benefit from these principles. The concepts can be adapted for all bodies.

These principles also work for people with disabilities. I’ve taught women who use wheelchairs pussywalking techniques, and they too experience transformation.

These Clitoral Legs Were Made for Walking: How to Pussywalk

As explained in Part One, your clitoris is not just a small external point to be stimulated toward climax. You also have “clitoral legs” inside your body containing thousands of nerve endings designed solely for pleasure.

Everything you need exists within your body. With this step-by-step guide, you can begin your exploration.

Putting It All Together: A Step-by-Step Guide to Embodied Confidence through Pussywalking

  1. Observe your habitual posture. When not consciously thinking about your body, how do you stand? How do you walk? Stand up and notice your default gestures and postures. Take a small walk around your space. What is your typical walk like? Do you tend to shrink, slouch, or hurry? Developing daily body awareness is a key principle of pussywalking. Take notes on your starting point if you find that helpful.
  2. Shake it out. Give your body a good wiggle to free yourself to try something new, releasing any shame or discomfort associated with your sexual anatomy. Most of us grow up with considerable taboo around sex. Allow yourself to shake off that shame. Be playful and move every part from toes to head to bring aliveness to your body. For musical accompaniment, try Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off”—you don’t need to be a Swiftie to appreciate movement’s power for releasing tension and fear.
  3. Begin walking. After your full-body shake, simply walk around your space as you normally would, without overthinking it.
  4. Gradually direct your attention “down there” as you walk. Shift your focus to your pelvic region. The pelvis is a bowl-shaped structure located at the base of the spine, connecting the trunk to the lower limbs. Notice how the pelvis serves as the central organizing wheel of your body, affecting everything! Observe what it feels like to place your attention there as you walk.
  5. Direct awareness inside your pelvis to your internal clitoris. As you continue walking, remember that the clitoris inside your body has thousands of nerve endings that can be activated for pleasure. This entire structure exists for your enjoyment alone—not for anyone else. Direct your breath and attention to this organ, tuning into these subtle-pleasure nerve endings. Whatever you feel is fine; if you feel nothing, that’s also fine.
  6. Deepen your intention through visualizing a ball of energy. Gradually concentrate more attention on your body’s pelvic center. Imagine the ball of energy we awakened in Part Two. Choose a color for this ball in the space of your internal clitoris. Breathe into this ball of energy and let it pulse larger with each inhalation and exhalation. Let this awareness build gradually with each step.
  7. Let the energy circulate through your body. Through your breath and attention, let this energy spread throughout your body, flowing down to the ground and up to the top of your head.
  8. Observe the effects. Pussywalking is a whole-body practice. You may notice changes in how your feet touch the ground, your hips sway, your pace, posture, head position, gaze, or smile. In my workshops, every woman experiences some change in her walk. What changes do you notice? Whatever you observe will be unique to you.
  9. Notice postural changes. Many people find that pussywalking immediately improves posture without effort. Some students tell me it’s the most effective posture-correction exercise they’ve ever tried. When you bring consciousness to your pelvic area, you can infuse your entire body with energy.
  10. Practice with a friend. Share this practice with a trusted, curious, supportive friend. Walk “normally” in front of them, then gradually transition to pussywalking without announcing the change. Ask if they notice when you transitioned and what differences they observe, then watch their pussywalk. Give each other feedback.
  11. Practice regularly. This is an ongoing practice, not a one-time exercise. The more you practice, the deeper your experience becomes. Use pussywalking at home, networking events, grocery stores, on your commute, in work meetings, on dates—whenever you need to boost your energy or confidence. You can also take an intentional pussywalk in nature or around your neighborhood.

How to Go Deeper (Or Ensure You’re “Doing It Right”)

My mission is to share this methodology with as many people as possible. That’s why I create free articles and videos available online.

For those wanting personalized guidance to apply these techniques to their specific circumstances, I offer Pussywalking Consulting/Coaching.

These online and/or in-person sessions combine life coaching with my unique embodiment techniques to help you step into a more powerful, clear, and confident version of yourself.

I work with people who are often “overly nice” overachievers, curious and eager to get out of their heads and into their bodies as part of their growth journey. You may feel resistance (“No, I can’t do this”), but these blocks simply need to be understood and worked through.

Pussywalking Consulting can be particularly effective if you want help with:

  • Stepping into a new path, moving beyond self-doubt to become more centered and confident about your work, ideas, gifts, or next steps
  • Navigating a challenging/sexist work environment or job search, developing unshakable confidence (pussywalking can be an effective antidote to imposter syndrome)
  • Exploring dating and meeting potential partners who are truly available for what you want, drawing people to you through magnetic energy
  • Transitioning through major life changes such as divorce, relocation, or career shifts
  • Developing authentic leadership in business, politics, or other areas rather than using superficial techniques
  • Making life decisions—pussybreathing can deepen self-trust and confidence

Many wonder, “Am I doing this right?” Pussywalking Consulting provides personalized support to answer your questions.

Others ask, “Am I ready for this? Is it too advanced?” While these techniques draw from various traditions of Tantra, Taoism, and yoga, they are fundamentally simple. It’s about finding the right coach who can translate the esoteric into accessible practices.
