When My Vulva Stopped Getting Wet: How I Reclaimed My Juiciness with Jade Eggs

By Usha Rose, Sexual Empowerment Coach.

A personal journey from dryness to desire—and why an intentional practice makes all the difference.

Let me tell you about something that changed my relationship with my body in ways I never expected. It started with something most of us don’t talk about openly: I wasn’t getting as wet as I used to.

Can you relate?

I’m talking about vaginal lubrication—getting wet, feeling juicy, that natural response we often take for granted until it’s not there anymore. As a Sexual Empowerment Coach, I’m comfortable addressing these intimate topics, but even I hadn’t really thought much about my own wetness until it started to change.

The Wake-Up Call That Changed Everything

A few years ago, I began noticing that my vagina wasn’t lubricating as easily or as quickly as she used to. It was one of those gradual shifts that you don’t really notice until suddenly you do. Then came the incident that really got my attention.

During an intimate moment with a lover, I experienced a small tear on my inner labia. I didn’t realize it until the next day when I felt something tender and did some investigating with a hand mirror. My first thought was panic—was it a sore? A wart? Something worse? Eventually, I realized it was simply a tear from insufficient lubrication.

While the physical tear healed within two days, the emotional impact lingered. This was my body telling me something important, and I needed to listen.

Rediscovering an Ancient Practice

That’s when I decided to dust off my jade egg from where it sat on my altar and commit to using it with real intention and regularity. I had always believed in the benefits of yoni eggs, but what happened next exceeded even my expectations.

Within weeks, I was feeling juicier than maybe ever before. The change was so dramatic and happened so quickly that it reignited my passion for this ancient practice in a whole new way.

Understanding the “Why” Behind Changing Wetness

Before we dive deeper into how jade eggs helped me, let’s normalize something important: fluctuations in our natural lubrication are incredibly common throughout our lifetime. Our ability to self-lubricate and experience arousal—both physically and mentally—can be influenced by numerous factors:

  • Stress and emotions that live in our bodies
  • Physical health and overall wellness
  • Medications that affect hormone levels
  • Menopause and hormonal fluctuations throughout different life stages
  • Lifestyle changes or major transitions
  • Our relationship with our body and sense of self
  • Relationship dynamics with partners

Each of these factors plays a significant role that shouldn’t be overlooked. (There’s so much more to explore about each of these—if this resonates with you, I’d love to discuss it further.)

How Jade Eggs Supported My Journey Back to Juiciness

In my personal experience, developing an intentional jade egg practice supported both the physical and emotional aspects of my pelvic floor health and my desire for pleasure. Here’s what I noticed:

Physically, using the egg brought increased blood flow and energy to my vagina, activating muscles and tissues while stimulating the entire region to become more responsive and alive.

Emotionally and energetically, I was actively engaging my heart, mind, and attention toward sensitivity in my vulva and vagina. This enhanced my pleasure capacity, my ability to be present during intimate moments, and my overall levels of arousal.

The result? More natural juiciness and a dramatically increased desire for sexual exploration and connection.

What Makes a Jade Egg Practice “Intentional”?

Here’s something crucial that many people don’t understand about jade egg work: it’s not just about inserting the egg and hoping for the best. An intentional jade egg practice is a holistic approach that weaves together multiple elements:

  • Specific breathwork techniques that activate your pelvic floor
  • Mindful movement practices that awaken sensation
  • Visualization exercises that connect you to your feminine power
  • Emotional release work that clears old patterns and trauma
  • Sensual embodiment practices that enhance pleasure and sensitivity

This comprehensive approach is what transforms a simple stone into a powerful tool for reclaiming your erotic wholeness, your relationship with your body, and your capacity for pleasure.

The Ripple Effects of an Awakened Yoni

The changes I experienced went far beyond just increased lubrication. When we tend to our “yoni” (this is the sanskrit word for the vulva and vagina) with intention and care, we often discover that our entire relationship with sexuality, sensuality, and our feminine essence begins to shift.

One participant in my jade egg course shared: “I had way more sexual desire, which was one of my intentions, and felt more confident in relationship with my partner.” This captures the ripple effect I’ve witnessed in countless women who commit to this practice.

Your Invitation to Explore

The jade egg practice offers so much more than just pelvic health—it’s an invitation to reclaim your body, your sexuality, and your sense of self as a fully embodied, sensual woman. While the jade egg is a powerful tool for transformation, it’s essential to learn from qualified educators who can guide you safely through the practice.

If you’re curious about how an intentional jade egg practice might support your own journey toward greater juiciness, sensitivity, and pleasure, I’d love to share more with you.
